morning just enjoying my conversation

with our guest and friend Kayla Joy the

owner operator of RC Heating and Cooling

aka the HVAC Barbie I wish you could see

all the pink accessories that she has

out here you look great Kayla and you're

doing a great job you know I appreciate

you because you put your money your

mouth is you have a great heart for the

community and giving back and that's

something you do absolutely personally

isn't it yeah absolutely I um definitely

love giving back to Charities I sponsor

lots of stuff as much as we can the

Parkinson's run I'm about to run on the

weekend um next weekend and I I have a

charity mome County foster closet that

is near and dear to my heart I try and

do as much as I can for them um you know

we just try we I go out you know plant

flowers in Detroit and anything and

everything that we can do to give back

we definitely do and you also support an

important Foster charity don't you yeah

mome County foster closet we actually

just donated one of our vehicles to them

they did not have any they didn't have a

a box truck or a van to go pick up beds

that are being donated a lot of things

that foster kids don't have are beds in

the when they're placed in new homes a

lot of foster families do have them but

not always you know they may get a baby

and they don't have a crib and they did

not have a vehicle to go pick those

things up so uh we had an extra vehicle

that we really wanted to sell but

honestly I'd rather give it to them so

that they can help more children and

definitely provide um more um uh more

stuff for you know people and that's

near and dear to your heart because you

grew up as a foster child didn't I did

yes absolutely and I am jealous and I

love this program because I didn't have

something like this when I was a kid but

it was okay I turned out all right um

and they uh provide so much Services

they birthday gifts Easter baskets I

mean there's paper towels all you know

for the foster home Foster families as

well as the children they get full

clothes complete outfits for you know

two weeks at a time they just walk in

there give them an Ikea shopping bag and

they go shop in like a regular store but

it's free for them because they that's

their commitment to the Foster system

wow well thank you for your your

Generous Heart in supporting the

community and the children I think that

is so wonderful you know our our time is

short this morning Kayla so I just want

to remind our listeners what you all
